Welcome to SAIV
S.A.I.V. (The Spiritual Alliance to Stop Intimate Violence) provides materials to help you facilitate discussion, encourage action, and engage others to help break the cycle of violence in families and in our family of nations.
Launched by human rights activist and author Riane Eisler with Nobel Peace Laureate Betty Williams, the mission of SAIV is to break cycles of violence in families and the family of nations. Intimate violence is the training ground for the violence of war, terrorism, political repression, and crime. It can, and must, be stopped. Visit the SAIV site for resources and ideas for action.
