I strongly support the Spiritual Alliance to Stop Intimate Violence (SAIV), a global initiative and awareness campaign that can serve as a powerful way to heal, transform, and empower our lives, our communities, and our world.

Statistics show that violence against women and children are the most ubiquitous human rights violations worldwide. The principles upon which SAIV is founded can help us change this intolerable situation. Because intimate violence and international violence are inextricably interconnected, this important initiative will also help us lay solid foundations for a more peaceful and just future for the whole human community.
